Been here 2 days. Man, for an Arizona boy this area is OLD!! Makes me smile just looking at it. Got out a little today, only found modern coins. I will keep trying. Is there no one in the area that will take pity on a travelling metal detectorist?? Would love to meet someone local. I will be here for several more days. PM me.

Sorry I didn't get to hunt with anyone in the area. Did meet some friendly people at theTri-State Historical Research and Recovery Association monthly meeting.
I finished out my visit to the area today with a couple permissions. Early 1900's yards. Unfortunately, must have been lots of fill. Relatively new coins at 6+ inches. Nothing old at all. Still hunting's better than not.
Back to the Jamestown KY area for a couple more weeks and then on to Missouri.
