This is an actual Knights of the Golden Circle treasure symbol. The first clue was dug up in front of it's nose 12" deep. From there it gets complicated with the names of stars, dates, and distance to go to the next clue. We are in pursuit of several large caches and what we believe was a repository. Can't wait to get are new G.P.R. unit! The whites with a geologger has been working for us so far. It's amazing how good it pictures things when displayed on the laptop screen.
Thanks Tim!!!:notworthy:

"Google" Turtle Signs for buried treasure(s); it IS a "sign"; I like Treasure Hunter's University for Reference (Hawkeye Mike). RED HAND does indicate BOOBY-TRAPPED buried treasures; could be explosives, rock-falls, etc. KGC utilized ALL "treasure signs").

Example of a ROCK-FAll BOOBY-TRAP: Big CHUNK of GOLD at bottom of a pile of "loose" rocks, leading to MORE "loose" rocks above that (in a cave, tunnel, or outside near BOULDERS); take out that chunk and rock-fall will "take YOU out... HA! :tongue3:
