It has been brought to my attention that Kathy Bates the actress, is Finis Bates Granddaughter. Although Miss Bates does play a lunatic in the movie thriller "Misery"

She is quite sane and a wonderful person....

She unfortunately is in a battle with breast cancer at this time, and although I think she is winning, I don't feel that it would be appropriate for me to approach her. I would love to hear what she has to say about her Grandpa and his findings. If you ask me, I believe the U.S. Government still owes him $100,000.00 for finding John Wilkes Booth. Perhaps when our evidence to support his claim is released, she can try and sue them for it. It would be worth about 1.5 million in today's dollars.

The truth ls in the escape route depicted by Finis Bates as he was told it by John St. Helen was correct. Finis Bates did not know what we know now, or the War department would have had to open an investigation and in the end they would have had to pay the $100,000.00 Reward to Finis Bates. The reward money had already been paid to the men that brought back the body sewed into a blanket from the Garret's barn.

KATHY BATES HAS BEEN NOTIFIED OF NEW FINDINGS INVOLVING FINIS BATES CLAIM

Waiting on her response at this time. I am excited to tell her the information we have concerning her Grandpa Finis Bates claim, that he met John Wilkes Booth in Texas.

Does she "know" her Grandpa's involvement as a REBEL (Secret Service...? HOW he "assumed" "JJ's name"...?); so MANY different "personality traits" indicated for JJ...). EVEN Dalton. LOTS of "Jesse James" running around then...

You can imagine the lengths that the guilty party would go to to discredit a man with the truth. Especially when there is big money already involved in schemes that were being hatched and in some that had already hatched into lucrative operations. The truth would have ruined everything! Obviously the man was a lunatic, and would have to be stopped at all cost, they would do or say anything they could about him to stop him. think about it.

From "DeadMan's Hunt: The search for John Wilkes Booth"

Excerpt: "After the assassination, a trunk owned by Booth was located. In the trunk were coded messages and symbols that were used by the Knights of the Golden Circle. Most of the messages have been de-coded by modern researchers and they tell us that these strange symbols tied Booth to the murder of President Lincoln and the KGC."

As far as I an my father are concerned, Finis Bates went to his grave, being owed $100,000.00 by the U.S. War Department. John St. Helen was John Wilkes Booth the assassin. Booth got well and survived his supposed death bed, knew his cover was blown after spilling his guts to Finis Bates about who he really was...got scared, and hauled @ss to other places. The proof we have points to his pay off for the deed, and his connection directly to known K.G.C. members that controlled the funds (so to speak). It supports Finis Bates claim 100% and sheds light on the very things that supposedly deterred any investigation by the War Department. Bates went to great lengths and personal expense to prove he was right. If you look at the list of evidence he collected and the number of statements and depositions etc. etc. you can see he was pretty damn serious for a supposed lunatic. Why would a lawyer of good character go to such great lengths to only further discredit himself in the publics eye? The people that knew the truth of the matter could not let it get out, or they were all facing the gallows. The guilty parties were the type of powerful men who controlled everything and anybody useful to them. It was not hard for them to discredit the poor man using every method available to them to protect themselves from possible exposure for their part in the assassination of President Lincoln. Just our 4 cents

It is highly likely that the War Department tried to discredit Mr. Finis Bates because they had already dispersed the assassin's reward money to the wrong people.......for the wrong body that was sewn into a blanket and delivered as such to the War Department at 3 am in the morning. Not much happening on the streets at that hour.

As much as I would like to believe this info, it is hard to swallow. Almost as hard to swallow as retrieving the following identifications and evidence.

Passports recovered
According to testimony by Susan Ginsberg, a staff member of the National Commission on Terrorist attacks upon the United States, in the January 26, 2004 Public Hearing:

"Four of the hijackers' passports have survived in whole or in part. Two were recovered from the crash site of United Airlines flight 93 in Pennsylvania. These are the passports of Ziad Jarrah and Saeed al Ghamdi. One belonged to a hijacker on American Airlines flight 11. This is the passport of Satam al Suqami. A passerby picked it up and gave it to a NYPD detective shortly before the World Trade Center towers collapsed. A fourth passport was recovered from luggage that did not make it from a Portland flight to Boston on to the connecting flight which was American Airlines flight 11. This is the passport of Abdul Aziz al Omari."
"In addition to these four, some digital copies of the hijackers passports were recovered in post-9/11 operations. Two of the passports that have survived, those of Satam al Suqami and Abdul Aziz al Omari, were clearly doctored. To avoid getting into classified detail, we will just state that these were manipulated in a fraudulent manner in ways that have been associated with al Qaeda."
WTC site
The passport of hijacker Satam al-Suqami was found a few blocks from the World Trade Center.

Flight 93
According to the 9/11 Commission, the passports of two of the hijackers Flight 93 were also found intact in the aircraft's debris field.

Atta's luggage
The doctored passport of hijacker Abdulaziz Alomari was found in Mohamed Atta’s left-behind luggage.

When examining Mohamed Atta's left-behind luggage, the FBI found important clues about the hijackers and their plans. His luggage contained papers that revealed the identity of all 19 hijackers, and provided information about their plans, motives, and backgrounds. The FBI was able to determine details such as dates of birth, known and/or possible residences, visa status, and specific identity of the suspected pilots. None of these documents have been scrutinized by independent legal experts

What an amazing stroke of luck to find anything made of flammable material (paper and plastic)in that smoking hole, especially if it was at the point of impact(pilot's seat) with a Maximum Takeoff Weight of 910,000 lb and part of that weight was 63,705 U.S. gallon of jet fuel with a burn temperature of 825 degrees Celsius (1517 degrees Fahrenheit). Paper ignites at 218°-246°F ...but it was protected by plastic... which melts at / ABS. 88°-125°. 416°. Acrylics. 91°-125°. But if it was in their suit case stowed away....that is what saved it,,,,,,,,,,,,Right? These guys are good...:icon_scratch:

I hate to bring up such a sore subject, but it is a very good comparison of what is possible if you control the press and the information that is released to be published. This is a very good way to control the masses and reassure them you have the situation under control. This is very similar to the capture of John Wilkes Booth........"WE GOT HIM!" right?:dontknow:

You would think they could come up with a new story after 140 years.......it must be prototypical for dealing with any terrorist, ,,,,why change a plan that works.
