It was held in Raleigh N.C. Riley must be a typo. We have travel vouchers for several that attended it .... at least putting them there. The orders given there by Bickley (a front man)were dictated by others and he was reading what was basically a script. The orders to destroy all written records were followed by all castles within 10 days of it's presentation. The elections of officials also took place as directed. Just my 2 cents.......

It would seem to me, that if people traveled from all over the country to attend the meeting at Raleigh, anyone close would have went there. I have several places that are involved that used to be big in the 1800's but you can't even tell there was ever a town there now. But, I still believe that the only meeting that Bickley held was in Raleigh N.C. just my 2 cents.
