Augustus Larrentree commanded the Arkansas Bat'l of KGC

I've been trying to track this guy down. He was a sign maker and painted battle honors on confederate regiment flags while serving in the confederate army from Arkansas. The last I can find him is in Memphis, Tenn in the 1870s running a shop there. Anyone live in Tennessee who can help find the death record or gravesite of this man?

Walter Colt, I ran a check at the National Archives and in old newspapers. The only thing I could find was his service record from the Mexican War and a clipping of someone by the last name in a Memphis, Tennessee newspaper killed by an Indian in Mississippi in 1872. I do not know if it was him or someone else by the same last name. He is an interesting individual but not much history on him.

Also, House and Steamboat Painter

Served under CSA Gen Nathan Bedford Forrest
