I believe the name on Julia's death cert is, Iseral which is the mis spelling of Israel. It was the habit of people who followed the religion known as the Philadelphia church of Israel to take as their own last name, Israel.

Julia's maiden name was Kaln which is pronounced, Kahn which is easily confused as corn when someone hears it spoken.
