Ran into that with the transcripts of the court martial of Captain French, the national archives did not even know that the microfilm had been taken and replaced with 'filler' nonsense type microfilm. Amazing what some folks will do.

emailed, waiting on the newspaper librarian to get back

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, we haven't found or replaced that reel. I contacted our newspaper librarian to see if she has any other ideas, but she's out of town for the week, so it may be a while before I hear back.
I see in WorldCat that several other libraries in Arizona have that newspaper, although I can't see which years they have. I might suggest seeing if your local library can put in an inter-library loan request for it.
If the newspaper librarian is able to find it, I'll be back in touch with you. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.
Take care,

The strange spelling for the last name of "Petrick" is an Americanized version of Petrasch. I would not have known it but had a friend named Pedrick (note a slightly different spelling) and he informed me that it was originally Petrasch.
