Looks like all the Cochranes are deceased:

Boyd K= 1994
Ruth= 2004
Eileen= 2013
Elma A.= 2005
Jack M= 1987

All the phone numbers associated with all the names listed are disconnected. I have a couple of younger Cochranes floating around, but still trying to contact.

Mike

gollum,

Any idea of who this might be and what they were selling? Thanks!

I believe so, although I haven't got around to confirming it with Richard himself.
I've been meaning to ask him about it in my reply to an observation in his last e-mail, but haven't had the time as yet.

I'd also been planning to re-read his e-book, but haven't had time for that either.

Hey, hiker, I saw the petroglyphs you posted on that other forum. Were they all found near the Gila River or on any old trails? This particular symbol serves the purpose of a breadcrumb (IMO), or more precisely, a mark of possession.

No, the carved versions are north of the Sups.
I've seen the same symbol in the Superstition Mountains as well, but can't remember where....exactly.
But they all seem to be associated with map-style petro panels along major trails used by the Hohokam, Salado,Sinagua, and Pai cultures.
This one is up the Colorado, towards Vegas. It's a bordered cross as well, but may have a different meaning.

Since there's nothing left on the other forum, might as well continue the discussion here.

Might be better off using a new discussion thread , rather than one which may also be deleted.

Here is the photo that we call the House Stones. I have received permission to copy the photo here. Please do not recopy or distribute further.

This photo's print date (March 1950) in its self causes serious issues with Clarence Mitchell's version of when the stones were found. There will be much room for healthy debate when the series of photos from this single roll of film are made public.

HouseStones by Ryan Gordon, on Flickr

Here's why.
This is the first post from this thread.
What do you think "Old" means by "we"--"call the house stones" ?
And do you see the photo ?

Just a guess, but.....
Molds were made and multiple copies cast by Richard Robinson.
There are several sets of these copies in private hands today.
How many of the current owners heard about and purchased their copies through
this add ?
Perhaps to help raise funds for the AMMM.

sounds like the same man, from the pdf, when you get around
to talking to him again, ask him how many copies he made

pg6
I soon made arrangements to see and photograph the Superstition Tablets
which were onpermanent display in the Mesa Museum in Mesa Arizona.
The owner of the Tablets was anon-profit organization - The A. L. Flagg
Foundation for the advancement of Earth Sciences. At the time of taking
the photographs, I was able to persuade the owner of the Tablets toallow
me to have molds made of the Superstition Tablets so that I could have
exact copiesproduced.

The reason why this is the first and the last post in this thread .

PS

They also manipulated to be deleted my last post in Sarge's thread " Legend of the stone maps " . This shows how " they " are ready to use any way to promote successfully their work , which is another humping of the stone maps .

Marius, what; pray tell, are you talking about? Just who are you accusing of deleting your thread? Me? How could I do that and why would I? Ryan is not a member here. Have you gone paranoid on us? If members deleting other member's thread is possible, delete this one. Show me how its done. Geeze, this gets weirder by the day.

I guess I was wrong about that......it was.
The discussion will continue elsewhere.
There was nothing wrong with the topic itself, or most of the comments, so I hope it will be restored here as well.
Minus that last post and poster of course.
