i never had the pleasure of meeting tom but all that i have heard about him was that he was a good man and had so
much knowledge about the superstitions.
we send our condolences to his family and friends.

Well crud...sorry to hear about Mr. Kollenborn.
Enjoyed reading his articles and stories about the history of Arizona, and his adventures in the Superstitions. Met him and Sharon at the Rendezvous back in 2011. I remember shaking the man's hand and thinking to myself...'damn this guy is the real deal'. From his rough hand and look in his eyes, you can tell he was a real cowboy that has lived the life.
Thoughts and prayers to his family and many friends out there...wish I knew him better.
Guess you can say that another treasure has been lost in Arizona.

just got back from tom's memorial service.....he had alot of friends and even though it was raining alot of people still showed up... it was a very nice service...we are all going to miss having him around
