I have the silliest thought in my head...I have had this thought in my head for over a year now and due to current circumstances I am actually thinking about going through with the darned thought...I have been thinking about going down South to good ole Mexico and trying to survive for a whole 6 months down there...I was even thinking about trying to organize some of my over 2,000 poems into a book or two...Who knows...I almost put in a change of address today to have my mail forwarded to my son, so that he could keep me informed with goings on here in the U.S....
Of course I could try to find some time to make it over to Durango too search for a lost mine or two...I just have not made up my mind as to where in Mexico I should go to try to organize those danged poems...I think that Hermosillo is nice this time of year...But it is in the 80's in Mazatlan...Shoot...I wonder where in the heck I'll go...That is IF I do decide to make my way down there...
I wonder IF anyone would want to spend any of their money on a book of my poetry
I wonderOh well...I guess we'll just have to wait and see what is in store...I think I am a fairly talented poet...At times I wonder IF I am a good poet or a great poetlol...Has anyone around here ever read any of my poetryAnd IF so...What are your thoughts on the subject

Don't know if I Should respond 
I'm no fan of "poetry" so I find that part Laughable enough
to wonder if your Joking. Don't get me wrong, I Know most songs I like Rhyme & That can be considered
poetry, But in My mind I separate Sappy Poetry in Books & Music.
I suppose Crap like Achy breaky heart is a Connection but not really music
and not really quality ryhmin.
I took the failed tests and Incomplete in High School when the Teacher decided a couple weeks of
Poetry Lessons were mandatory learning.
Any-Who ! if your Serious Sorry IF I offended in Any way.

You going to self publish? To be honest, I don't think books of poetry sell very well. But who knows? Maybe in Mexico you would find an untapped market.
