Laugh all u want. I don't care. U will never find my spot. When I'm pulling the big nuggies out of the cave wall with my guide. Figuring I'll probably have some if the biggest peices of gold pulled out of the Sups or az for that matter. I post my spot on FB so it's will never be lost again. The cave of gold. Ps, jealousy must be a motha f'r. View attachment 1871699

This is not my pic, but the only pic I could find of what I expect to see when I enter the cave. Decomposing Rhyolite. This is what I believe Waltz was saying when he said about the red rock 1/2 gold next to the quartz vein we all know and talk about. Time will tell. View attachment 1871707

The pic is of said rock face that waltz carved the eye out. And above "not across" is his frying pan standing up via the pan handle. U can see a quartz vein on the lower left of the pic. Think I've shared enough , here for now. Was not going to share this pic. Of course this is only my opinion.Enjoy. View attachment 1871715

This pic , would like to know what metal it is native mercury or a telluride ?? View attachment 1872217
doc...nobody can correctly identify a rock from a pic...all you are going to get is guesses...if you really want answers you need to hire a geologist for a day and pick his brain....asking for amateur geologists on a forum is like looking online for free legal advise ...you get what you pay for:icon_scratch:

lol....taking advice from someone you cant see and have never met?..i don't think that's what a forum is for...i'm not trying to be a smart alec...just trying to steer you in the right direction.........actually there is a geologist on this forum..i don't think he checks in very often but he has posted quite a bit on the other forum and he is very familiar with the geology of the superstitions

Just find it interesting. I'm just following a map to the end. But rocks are interesting and added another layer than just a map. Understand a lil more ā˜ŗļø f the beauty as I go out treking. I like the thrill of the chase. Could care less about the gold or treasure. It's the finding l of it that gets me. I'm sure I've walked over rich **** but never knew what I was looking at. Just like my pics of the minerals. Don't look like much but a lil looking under a zoom or loupe makes ya appreciate the rock a lil more.

Well Dave

I think you are being the Latter. Docā€™s grown up and has a daddy. Iā€™m giving him sound advice on with Area to stick to by Juliaā€™s own story even clay worst stuck real close to that area Browie Holmes Dick Holmes and Juliaā€™s two partners. Why I
think Doc has the right grit to perhaps even find what heā€™s looking for.

Your dearest friend
