4 plus years ago I was detecting near a side walk in Tarpon Springs, next to a funeral home and found a class ring. I did the research, found the owner within 30 days, and even had a conversation with her. She informed me that she had not lost her class ring, but had given it to her daughter, she was absolutely sure she still had her ring. I ask her to describe the high school mascot only and I would fill in the rest. She said the mascot was the Falcons, I told her the crest, and the pink stone in the ring. She confirmed the details but again said her daughter has her ring and thanks but no thanks, and to keep the ring. ??? Well to say I was just a little puzzled. Today I received an email from her asking if I still had the ring and if possible would like to have her ring back!
I have sent her a reply and now waiting for a phone call to arrange the return! I will post photos of the happy reunion!

That is ... wierd. Good on you for attempting to return the ring and making the effort of tracking down the owner. BTW, did you learn how the alledged "lost" ring was "lost"?

This is correct.

Plus if you ever put your own name in & search
It triggers something that sends you a message saying
somone has searched for you.
or if somone searches for another person with the same name
even on the other side of the country
you get word another person has searched for you.
I Believe they even add fake names searching for you.
all to get you to join.

example: Put in jane Doe & Search.
Every jane doe who ever Put their email address in,
even as a non member will get an email saying somone searched for jane doe from their school, even if it wasn't their school.
then every jane doe who look up the name of the person
looking automatically generates a email for you & everyone with your name saying jane doe is looking for them. (Pyramid System)

Because of this, even if they get a report saying
somone wants to contact them, odds are they will
think Scam & ignore.

I Learned the hard way.
paid for a Month to find out
who was looking for me,
and of the 9 or so they said were,
they were nobody I Knew.
and were looking for another
Jeff in another state.
& in some cases looking for a Joseph
or Jake but only put in
J. & the last name :(

For anyone who is not a member,
classmates is a scam
