I am new to this site but reading forums reminded of incident about 20-25 yrs ago.
My family was searching a wooded section behind the Mackinaw City School, when my youngest son found a gold class ring. The ring had initials inside band and without too much investigation we located the owner and returned the ring. Owner of ring was very grateful and related he lost it a year or so before it was found, and never thought he would see it again! My son made his day. It actually made our day as well.
