    FATHER KINO MISSION

    Hello
I am trying to find the location of the lost San Rafael mission in SE Arizona. Can someone help me out? I have checked the internet for references but no luck. Could it have been renamed? There is reference to a place called San Rafael i found on google earth in S Arizona but no mission remains noted. Any ideas?
    Thanks

I do believe that the Guevavi Mission near Tumacacori was also called San Rafael.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Sonoyta is not in Arizona. It is in Sonora, Mexico.

Additionally, I believe the abandoned mission you are looking for is also in Sonora, Mexico. You may need to expand your search to the old fashioned way, books and documents. Have fun.

    Time for more coffee.
