I am trying to find a picture of an indian head carving that i think was in one of paul hensons books. it has to do with Chief Doublehead and the swift mines or it may be connected to the spanish, who mined the silver before swift. it looks like the photo below. please post it, if you have it.
There is a picture of an Indian head and a boot carvingon page 70 of Hensons's Lost silver mines and buried treasures of Kentucky. Its anot quite like that one not as detailed. I can scan it in if you want it is a photocopy and not real plain. Its from the story "Indian Gold in Bullitt County".

Yes, thanks Curtis... I have just got done reading that Henson book, i believe that was what i was referring to. Ive read so much in these past few months, that sometimes i confuse myself.

The pic looks to have other marks above the Indian head, ill work with this a little and see if i cant pull something out. would really love to have the real picture of this.
