Meeting at Rest area Exit 33 near Natural Bridge State Park October 9-10th

Hope you can make it in October! I'm planing a campout in the Rockbridge area of the red river gorge... I'm trying to get as many people together that i can to go out on this camping trip. October 9-10Th! Camp like Swift did....
Things that you will need to bring:
backpack
Tent (if you choose)
sleeping bag
warm cloths
nonperishable food items
anything else you mayfeel to bring...

We will be meeting at the Rest Area exit33 on Mountain parkway in Slade, Ky. We will be meeting there from 10 to Noon, from there we will all travel together to the RockBridge area in the Red River Gorge. This way some could car pool. backpack in and backpack out the next day!

Great to hear Curtis, I'll be camping as well...We are currently working on a campsite to choose from, as well as which weekend would be best for the meeting/campout, as well as what we could do during the event. There are over a hundered things to choose from so it should be fun never the less. Should have something set in stone in the next 2 weeks. I'll keep updates coming.... -Ki-

Sounds good. Let's see if we could get our campsites close to a picnic shelter. It would make the meeting easier for everyone to find. And October sounds good. Not too hot.

I hated missing the last . A farmer is hostage to the weather during harvest . That time frame certainly interests me and will interest Poorhunter as well , I'm sure .

Great to hear guys, there are two campsite im debateing "Whittleton camp ground & Middle fork camp ground" they both are next to a really great picnic shelter. Both are in the park....
