recieved my Ace 250 today from UPS. Just finished playing
with it. Bench tested perfectly...can't wait to dig tomorrow.

Start with it set at about four bars of sensitivity on the coin mode.
Only dig targets that make a consistent bell tone. That means only dig if it will make the bell tone on every swing.
Pinpointing can be confusing and hard with this machine for newbies.
I suggest a method where once you find a target use the pinpoint mode to get the find centered under your coil. Then place coil on ground directly over target, and wiggle the coils you slowly pull it backwards. As soon and ding ding ding stops, stop pulling coil back and dig directly under front edge of coil target is there.
