    Only Serious Louisiana Treasure Hunters

Hello, my name is Johnny and I was a serious treasure hunter who use to live in Louisiana. I am 71 years old and have searched for treasure most of my life. I have helped or have found treasure of one kind or another, not just in Louisiana but other states. I would like to give you the benefit of that knowledge and my vast library, only if you want it. I am here to help, if you want it. I will check back every day, several times a day for as long as I can.

Johnny I appreciate you so much and I will try to suck up as much of your knowledge as you can give me. Thank you so much for all the help and knowledge that you have already given me.

I couldn't sleep last night so I went back to that same parking in Bay St. Louis and found nothing except clad. I ttried to do some research on the park on historical aerial maps but it only went back to 1956.

Before Katrina, I called Bay St. Louis home. What park are we talking about?

Molewacker, That is kind of you to say that, but it is purely personal. I spend about ten hours a day in bed and the rest in my chair. I sometime watch movies or read. The last job I had was over twenty years ago. I have had over thirty-six surgeries, with more on hold. I need to do this.

Truth, the Bay St. Louis Historical Society, if it still exist, could help in your own research. Or, it may have lost everything, like I did.

We appreciate your most generous offer sir. Truth1253 is a good guy, and most deserving of a hint or two about treasure.

He got so excited when he found the Barber half.

I hope that you start to feel a bit better.

Tom, glad you found the site. I spent some time in North Carolina, about a year, lots of treasure there, lots of history too. One of the first gold rushes started there, as I recall. I think it started with a boy finding a gold nugget the size of an Irish potato. After that someone found gold in Dahlonga, Ga. and everyone went there, then California and Alaska. Almost none of the mines were ever played out.

I lost everything myself Johnny and I mean everything. Worst experience of my life. I'll swear it took 5 years of my life.

I know what you mean. McDonald Park, was not there the last time I was there. My last job was at Casino Magic. I use to hit the beaches all along the coast from Clermont Harbor up to inside the back bay. There was a story about a ferry landing out along 603. it was on the west side of 603 on the north side of the Jourdan river. I was told that the man would ferry people and wagons across for a fee and he keep all of his money there. When he died the money was never found. I never looked for it, did not know who if anyone owned it. I had belonged to a treasure hunting club in BSL. After Katrina everyone went in different directions. I know that one of the members has died and two live in Picayune. I guess you probably know about the treasure found at the house on Beach Blvd. As well as the Lafitte House. Did you know that gold has been found along the Wolf River? If you decide to go prospecting let me know and I can tell you what you will need.

    Good Luck

P.S. Went back and checked, he ferried Cars and People. There was an old black and white photo at the Hancock County Historical Society, website.
