High, Tensas here, I have found two Louisiana trade checks in a open field by my home. They are from the Talla Bena Plantation a .05 and a 1.00 tokens Using a Tejon, Tesoro detector.

I found a La. tax token last month here in Shreveport at an old cleared site near downtown. It was in fair shape but pretty good for what they are made of. I remember having some of those when I was little. I had a play cash register and my Dad gave me a handful for play money to put in it. Oh, the things you remember!!
