    Trying to get back to normal around here, still a lot of tree cutting to do, water is slowly going down in the woods...I did manage to ride back there Friday evening, several trees down on the road, so I didn't get very far. Mosquitoes were attacking big time and gosh the smell of the swamp is nasty. Have to replace the tin that was blown off the workshop, but with the damage we are just fortunate it was not worst. My thoughts and prayers to all the others who did not fare so good during Gustav & Ike.

    The same here tree tops and not being able to cut my grass ..... looks like the old brush hog will be working overtime.. How did every thing fair out in the big state of Texas I have friends in Texas city Texas.... house was damaged .. but they survived.. thank God.
