our thoughts of the cone vs the standard mag??

The cone magnet is a must for areas with lots of rocks, trees, limbs, logs and other things you might get stuck on. I used the cone one for my newest video in a creek filled with logs and rocks, IMO it is a must have for areas where you are more likely to get stuck. Then use the normal ones for areas with sandy bottoms etc..

The soda bottle trick in front of a standard magnet works well also and you do not have to pitch all that weight. You have some good luck this time.
