Princes Radziwill killed in fall over cliff; Drops 100 feet as earth slips on Mt. Kineo.

Kineo, Maine, Sept. 14 - Princess Helen Radziwill, formerly Miss Helen Simpson of Chicago and widow of Prince Ladislas Radziwill of Poland, was killed here yesterday when she fell more than one hundred feet from a cliff on the north slope of Mt. Kineo.

The Princess had gone in search of a valuable diamond ring, which she had lost on Mt. Kineo. Accompanying her was her brother, Stanley B. Simpson. They had reached a place about two miles from the hotel and just north of the highest point of the cliff, at a point where the rock rises almost perpendicularly more than 700 feet, when either some loose earth gave way or she lost her balance and fell.

Her body was found lodged in trees growing on the face of the cliff, more than 100 feet from the top. It was with difficulty that it was recovered and lowered by ropes some 600 feet to the lake shore below, whence a boat conveyed the body to the village.

The Princess, who was said to have been about 26 years old, had been spending the summer with her family here. Her father was Dr. E. E. Simpson of Chicago. The body will be sent to Boston tomorrow.
