1848 map of conn./worth anything in this condition???

Hello everybody...i got this old"Roller" map of connecticut 1848 published by BROWN&PARSONS Hartford,Conn.it appears to have been water damaged&has crack's,peice's missing,etc.approx.26in.across/23in.top to bottom.canvas back...doe's it have any value in this condition? i have seen similar in VG.Con.(not as early)for hundred's of $$$.any help/info.will be greatly appreciated,Thank's everybody!

i bet you could get a buck fifty for it. I would be more interested in it as a treasure hunter though. How many towns are on that map that arn't there now? does it say anything about houses, schools, rail lines etc?
