Check out this web site. There is a wealth of information. Its a genealogy site with tons of links to census, geological surveys, cemeteries , military info, birth/death records ,etc..Takes a while to look through due to all the info but well worth the effort. Look under "United States regions & localities within the state" click on state you desire ,scroll down to "Maps, Gazetteers & Geographical Information".
