    GeoCommunicator map viewers

    not sure if this interactive map system has been posted b4
    has some really neat features,see my results in the snips
    i did mining claims in western colorado, at 2 zoom levels
    it is best to read the home pg/the first link, and the help files first
    have fun

    question
    if a claim is closed can you go and reopen it
    im not a miner, as im Claustrophobic
    just curious to how that works

    Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Many areas are not open to claims any more thanks to the far left corner of the political spectrum. That site is a great research tool but is not 100% up to date. Once you find a location you are interested in, check with the local blm. It may be closed or already claimed.
