    New Castle De Map

    Im trying to find a map of the colony of New Castle DE.....Does anyone have one or know where I can see one

    Around 1700. The original colony or up to the revolutionary war.

    It's my understanding that New Castle in 1700 was in Pennsylvania, but became part of Delaware in 1702.
    I'd start a similar map quest by asking the New Castle Historical Society:

    PS: New Castle was originally settled by the Dutch West India Company in 1651, under the leadership of Peter Stuyvesant, but it doesn't sound like you wish to go back that far. Anything particular you're looking for and wish to share?

    Trying to locate the site of the jail after Fort Casimir was there.
