    Research Help/ Maps

    Hello Everyone,

Im looking for some help finding a good site for historical maps in Kansas. I have looked at historical aerials but does anyone have any suggestions for other sites with good maps for metal detecting research? I have been invited to an old 1800s homestead in Kansas. The guy said there used to be some good structures on the site and has pictures from the early 1900's with buildings that look like they are falling in. Those building are long gone now of course and he doesn't know where on the property they were. Its a farm of several hundred acres. Thanks for the help!

Is the old homestead located in Harvey county?? If so...the following link has maps for the various townships in Harvey county...Maps are from 1882, should be able to locate the area of interest... if you know what township the old homestead is located in...
