SD,

Thanks , I was wondering if you were going to post it.
Sure glad you did.
Are your interps different than the usual ?

IF so ... Why?

This isn't for my edification that I ask,
But for the education of others, old friend.
Keep the faith. We are beyond the crap.
There are those who know and those who wish they did.

Yes ,
thanks.
I am aware that the style of map makes interpretation different.
There will always be some who will be the nay sayers.
there are those of us who have been around the edge of the thing with your help.

We are with you.
I may not have said it clearly enough ...
thanks for past help.
And thanks in advance for any help in the future.

I have been to six of the shown/mentioned features on the Map!
For example:
What is that "do dad" on the Bottom left hand corner?
Looks like "a star with a tail" ??
"I " Not!
Only know what it is, I have been to & past it many times!
I can show it to you... in person, if you or anyone else, would care to come along!
I can also show you The Large "Cross" carved into the cliff near & above the Mine !
OR!
How about "Agua de San Ramon"
Or!
Perhaps,
"Corte De P L R "
I am NOT KIDDING!
If you'd like to visit these sites, drop me a line
I will be in this area, "The Virgin of Guadalupe & The Pure Conception" Mines sometime next spring/summer '08 ...
From about March '08 on .....
I am a full time Prospector/TH'er
I will be spending about 10 months out in the field this coming year, Maybe more!
AND! Yes!
I have yrs & yrs of experience

PS :
Hi "Victorio"
Are you going to have time to meet out there this coming year?
Say, If I had your phone number, I've lost it :-[
Would you send it to me again?
Thanks,
Cptbil & Bugs

How Have you been Mi Capitan. Just sent you my INfo. I really wish I could go that far. But I don't think My Uncle " S " would allow me all that time. I hope to finish what I'm working on this winter while the Rattlers are Asleep.

Hey Stilldign,

I am still interested in your interpretation of the Molina Map. Your version is basically the same as mine. It is missing a letter though (PLR"N").

Without seeing your interpretation, I still wonder how it is possible to decrypt the map without taking either the document that relates to it, or the location itself into your calculations. See, the Molina Document describes a certain black rock that has the letters CCDTD engraved on the bottom. Basically, the document tells you how to decrypt the map. This Black Rock was removed by a family who moved into the rock house in the late 1920s to search for the treasure.

Here is a thread I started last year about the document and the map. I have learned a lot since I started that thread. You might want to read it as well.

Does anyone know what the;

"IRLR" & the "Corte de PLRN"

Mean?? ::)

Don't you mean I"P"LR? ;) Dign's Map is missing the "I", but the "P" is common to both maps.

Perhaps,
"Corte De P L R "

Also, this is "PLR"N"
