Yup, it's back down. On 6 Aug I was able to download and save all the maps I was interested in before they went down again. Who knows for how long again this time. If you need any maptech topo maps of central and slower Delaware let me know.

The historical topo maps have been down more than up since April. Don't know what the trouble is. Apparently, they don't either...

Maybe I should stop in and give somebody a kick in the pants. Their office is only about 2 miles from my house. That said, they do have a VERY nice library and allow access to originals of almost everything in the place. Unfortunately, you can't photograph or copy any of it.

Maptech's owner died in 2006. Company is being disected and sold off in pieces. Only a skeleton crew in the office. The nautical charts part of the business has been sold and should be available. The online topo maps is down and unavailable and the historical maps were available a few minutes ago. good luck, siegfried schlagrule
