That's interesting..

Usually,white marbles mean they were meant for playing Chinese Checkers. These are invariably small,maybe 3/8" diameter. I've found them in white,black and other solid colors. Tell your son to get those other marbles in the ground. My bet is if they're visable they're recent. Antique marbles dropped on the ground are quickly covered with debris thru the forces of nature. They can be exposed later thru soil erosion. Where I live way out in the middle of the Mojave Desert I wait till after a hurricane-force wind storm or desert flash flood,then pick up the exposed marbles (and coins,etc).
