Lets try this again. I got better quality pics this time at least. Where I could find seems I photographed them, but either I don't know how to find them, or some marbles just didn't have any.

Great! Now to help even more, try putting the marbles closer together so you can get the camera closer. Get as close as you can while maintaining focus. Make sure to use "macro".

Group 1:
All Alleys

Group 2:
1&2) very nice alleys, especially 2
3) not 100% sure, maybe a ravenswood.

Group 3:
1&2) Peltier
3) Imperial

Group 4:
1) Peltier
2) ??? maybe Heaton
3) Peltier

Group 5:
The order of the marbles alternate so I'm going by the first pic of each group. Better to move the marbles than the perspective.
1) Vitro cow tail (Is this the same one as last time?)
2) Maybe vitro, the sun is sort of washing it out a bit
3) Alley

Group 6:
1) Jabo
2&3) Can't tell

Group 7:
1)I think all Alleys.

Thank you!! I realized when I was posting them that I needed to put them closer together, so that's another thing I've learned. And I have certainly learned more about my marbles than I thought possible. It's been a terrific and sometimes exhausting journey. Learning about the seams has been the best advice ever. I just can't thank you enough!! (And I've been looking through your peltier post to help me and it's been a big help!) How long have you been collecting? Your marbles are fantastic!

I've been collecting since some time in the 1980s. I got some marbles that were my moms when she was a kid, mostly peltier banana cateyes, a few corkscrews, and some masters. I didn't know much about them then, but an old timer who ran an antique store in town took the time to show me his and sell to me and trade once in a while. His name was "Sarge". Nice old guy, I think he was in Vietnam. He taught me that some had names and who made some of them. I've been on it ever since, taking breaks off and on but never totally quitting. I've got more marbles than any grown man should, but hey, they don't eat anything or take up much space, so who cares! Glad I can help... Sarge would've wanted me to :D .

That's really cool your mom had marbles. When I was a kid I was always the only girl playing marbles in the school yard (and I wasn't very good). I've always loved marbles and picked them up whenever I could never realizing that there were specific companies that made them and some were more valuable than others. Now with decades worth of marbles trying to identify them, well, you know. : ). As far as that Vitro cow tail goes, I have five of them. No idea where I got them. I'm discovering I have far more Alley's than I would have ever guessed and not nearly as many Akro's as I though I would (I've always loved corkscrews). My absolute favorite are some hand made contemporary ones I picked up at a second hand store in Phoenix. They're gorgeous.

Here are some of my favorite Contemporary ones. Same maker. (I love Pelts but I do wander once in awhile!)

Cool! I actively try to stay away from contemporary marbles. I have tens, possibly hundreds of thousands of marbles as it is, so I have to put speed bumps in place where I can, lol!
