Went to a large outdoor flea market today - no marbles to be seen. Stopped at a small antiques shop on the way home. I was taking a look at a few jars of mibs sitting on the counter - nothing of interest and was prepared to leave empty handed when the owner noticed me looking at the jars. He asks, "Are you a collector?" I nod and watch as he heads for a cabinet behind the counter and out comes a small wooden box. He says he used to collect Popeyes. I was prepared to see only Akros (which he did have and some beauties to boot) when I spotted these two!! Got 'em for $10 a piece and came home pretty dang happy.

I am seeing something in the Deere that looks like Ox, but I didn't think there was such a thing? (You can see it best in the green ribbon in the first picture). I looked at my others and see something similar in one of them but looks more like the green diving deeper and just appearing darker).

Dang! You scored! I can't tell if that's the depth of the green or ox underneath. Oxblood commonly occurs with greens and teals.
