Hello All. 1st time posting on the Marble Forum...did not know there is a forum for marbles till against the wind turned me on to it...thanks ATW.

Dug these a couple years ago in a church yard pretty deep. Got a signal on the toy truck, it's Manoil from the '40's I think, and the marbles kept popping out...the truck had the rubber ball on its underside. Probably a long forgotten kid's toy stash.

Anyway I guess marbles can be rare and unique...are these? Thanks for the view and any info...Good Luck out there. C9

Nice group! Those are mostly old marbles, several peltier rainbos. Unfortunately most of them are fairly common and don't have a ton of value but some. The transparent amber one is nice. There might be 10 or 15 bucks of marbles there if listed well on ebay. Fun find, thanks for sharing!

Hello cheese. Thanks for the reply...guess I'll have to learn more about marbles and pay more attention to them when they show up.

Good Luck out there. C9

There is at least one book on marble collecting out there. I bought some recently for a decoration, they weren't too expensive, but other people also purchase them.

Oh yeah, there are loads of books about marble collecting. Marbles can range anywhere from worthless to thousands of dollars for one single marble. It's a fun hobby.

I love to find marbles. Those suckers are everywhere. I saw some in antique shop with the price up to 8 CAD . That price was for the marble with large diameter.
