Not usually. Depends. A clear glass marble or common cateye has basically zero value, a decorated clay in a rare design might be worth over a hundred dollars. Most common clays are $1 or less. Most glass marbles are even less. Some glass handmades and machine mades are worth thousands. Clays aren't necessarily older than glass.
I've come across both kinds my mil had collected before she passed. She collected a little bit of everything. Milk bottles, tobacco tins, watches, salt glazed etc.. Some thing's were passed down, some were collected.
