What a strange day detecting . I am lucky to get one marble a month if that .Today I got five at the same location but all separate finds .The last two I found are what I am interested in .They are smaller than I have ever seen .That is a dime the brown one is sitting on if that is a marble .The white one is a bit larger but still really small .The brown one is not perfectly circular . It has a slight wobble to it when rolled . White one age ? Brown one : Is it a marble ? marbel.jpg marble1.jpg

Cool! The first is a peltier rainbo, 1940s-50s. The next is a Vitro cateye, 1960s or so, the next is a West Virginia swirl, the white one I can't tell if it's glass or porcelain. If glass, it's a chinese checkers marble. The brown one is a clay marble. They ranged in size from very small, maybe 3/8" of so to over an inch. They are old but pretty common. Early 1900s-ish.
