Just an fyi, I snagged a great deal on 200+ count of verified vintage and Collectible marbles... so I'm going to need to learn fast. But I also grabbed some more references and a cool log book

You've got a mix of makers there from the 40s or so on up. I would take clear close pics of 3 or so at a time, showing different angles of each for ID.

Ok I'll sort them by the way I've I'd so far. 3 at a time in 4 poses. Three sets and I should have a good idea of what I have?

I'll be checking back to this thread to see & learn. I've a bunch as well, where ever they're at in the many boxes I have in the eaves of this house.

I'd caution you to proceed slowly with this until you learn more. I've made the mistake too many times of finding a new interest and jumping whole hogged into the new passion - thus wasting a whole lot of grocery money before I learned the "real" ropes of the game!

I've invested very little in terms of a true hobby and I have no delusions that I will make a retirement portfolio of them. They are beautiful and very much a good way to get my head down and destress. My kids have started to take interest and they are loving the time we spend together looking them up and sorting them out. Your concern is appreciate and headed as well. Thank you!

I have a few myself. Most of them I inherited from my brother Joe about 8 months ago.
