For what it's worth: Frederick County, MD

I was doing some work over in Frederick a couple of weeks ago and I had some time to kill. I'd never detected there before so I called the city police to check laws for parks first and was basically told to screw off. I called the county parks department and they told me there's a permit form to fill out and it has a 2-week turnaround time for ANY park in the entire county so that didn't do me any good, but it's nice to know for future reference. I couldn't find the permit paper online, so if you're looking for it you might need to get a hard copy from the parks department.
