Absolutely! I get poison ivy at least 2 times a year. Highly recommend the prednisone pills!

Seems that there is something going on in Watertown Parks was again talk to by the P.D. this time the report by the DPW that I was metal detecting in the park and that it was against the rules. Can't find the rule here, the Officer said maybe I should go to the Recreation Dept and ask them. I did and was told it is against the rules, when I asked for the specific rule he told me he'd have to look it up. He called back in an hour and said it's against the rules, I asked again for the specific rule and was told that he already spent too much time on this and he was busy. So much for public servants !

No a cop came by said they had a complaint from the DPW that I was digging, he said that they said it wasn't allowed. He also knows a little about the hobby as he said "your doing it right" the plugs were pretty tight and not a mess. He told me to check with the Recreation Dept, So I did. They told me that metal detecting wasn't allowed. His reasoning was anything in the ground was now property of the town, also defacing the property. I asked for the specific law, bylaw, or regulation and was told he didn't have time for that. I was back at it today and I publicized it on our town facebook page and wasn't bothered. So we'll see what happens now. Got 2 silvers a 1953D Washington, a Sterling Charm, a bling Gold Earring, Wheatie, clip, and .76 in clad

Went back to the schoolyard, park and got a Charm, military button, broken silver plated utensil, and a cow bell my second one from this site, also 2.13 in clad, a jewelry tag, and an osh kosh button..
Don't see any markings on the bell, or charm.

Yesterday back to the school I've been working. Found some new info on the history. So I concentrated on around this area


Internals of a pocket watch no case, 3.36 in clad change. A large nail clipper, and about a 1/4 Lb. trash. Left three large Iron targets in the ground to big, maybe furnace, or stove parts.

Did the old rail road bed turned walking path in Watertown behind Whitney plaza where the Whitney Estate once stood. Got a Dandy Button, medallion, Silver Claddagh ring, brass plate , brass escutcheon plate, brass link, copper tile, and copper knob, along with 3.62 in clad change about 6 Lbs of steel/copper/lead in the bins not a bad day on the old railroad path. The medallion is for the RR Engr. Union but it's dated years after the last train went thru go figure.

Went back there today but forgot the Bruins were planning on losing this afternoon. Hunted for an hour and a half 187? Indian head penny, 1.37 Clad and a setting without ring or stone probably junk.

Was out today they ripped out the sidewalk along the park so I hit that Junk plus .12 in clad so I went into the park and swung for an hour and picked up 3.54 more in clad, circular steel blade for a pipe cutter . brass lock modern. Typical park junk. total clad 3.66
