Went back to the school and the turf frozen, I pulled out 6.15 in clad before it got too cold for me. A Sacajawea dollar, and a Kennedy half were the only highlights. Think it's the last days for swinging on frozen turf. Back to the woods.

Dec clad/modern count 53.36

Was ready to put it all up but my niece called looking for a ride, so after dropping her off I was going to check out the old east jr high. Got there and found my pin pointer was MIA. went home not there, went back to the lowell school and there in the parking lot it was. If she never asked for a ride it would still be there waiting or a car or a kid to crush it, or take it. Lucky me !!! all it needs is a new battery. picked up 2.37 in clad the ground is frozen so I cherry picked for a bit till the pointer battery was toast. Think my son is going to buy a rechargeable 9volt pack for me friday.

Dec clad count is closed at 55.73

Tried Electrolysis for the first time. I have a before of my huge horseshoe and after but only after of the split-er/ maul. I set up with a depot bucket, arm and hammer baking soda, a few pieces of simpson strong tie as positive, and aligator clips on negative connector. I used a 12 v 3 amp power supply I had kicking around.
First in was the horse shoe. after fiddling with the connection I saw some action so I left it to its work. I pulled it out last night and scrubbed off most of the scaled rust. I put in the spike and went to bed. Woke up this morning and the spike was ready, but the horse shoe needed more bath time. It's dirty work. but worth it. before.jpg after.jpg spike.jpg
