What to do with Clads? Turn them into SILVER

This is just a suggestion for the spending of dug clad coins. I started metal detecting in the mid 90's. The finds literally exploded when I coughed up the cash for a White's XLT. I filled coffee cans with clad money. I found my share of silver, but most was clad. In the 90's, the local coin store would take my dirty money for purchases. (They no longer do this). I would take the change to the coin store and buy mostly Silver coins and a few old copper coins. Many of the quarters in this treasure box cost me between $1 and $2 back then. Their value has tripled and gone even higher in the past. So for an added adventure, take your clads to the bank, get cash and go invest it. It is fun picking out old silver coins that really cost you nothing.
