  • Hello, question is I’m from Pennsylvania, I don’t ever get out west, you probably find different coins etc, Spanish coins, what does the southwest offer from the early set days that most don’t know, thanks

    People were moving through this area but really nothing permanent until the 1830s. The nature of our area is that things area very quickly covered and lost, with little to no records. The civil war action was minimal besides the battles of Sabine pass and a couple of camps and outposts.

    I was detecting behind my house and dug a couple of guilded flat buttons from 1790-1840s era that I posted on here awhile back, I have no idea what they are from. You never really know what you will find. Sorry for all the posts it won’t allow but 400 words per message lol.
