  • Dave,
Joe recommended that I call you about work that I need done on an excal 2. Can you call me? My number is 786-422-2783. I am a full time hunter in Miami--Surfminer's hunting partner. I just don't trust sending any of my units to Minelab anymore. Happy hunting and I hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks for the message. Sorry for the late response. I plan on posting it on UTube for anyone interested in it. I just need to reformat it and post it. I'll try to circle back and let you know when that's done. I sold it for a number of years, but now just want to contribute it for anyone trying to figure it out. Good luck hunting, Jay Denmark, Raleigh
    Hi Dave,

I am new to the forum but I read that you work on Excaliburs. Please contact me I am also in fl. and would like to talk to you...Thank you...Charlie
    Dave:

I'm installing a WOT on an early 5 wire Excalibur, and was using your wiring metrix on here. Do I use both grounds (green and blue) bundled together, or leave one of them disconnected. Essentially, green and white together and leave the blue disconnected or all 3 together??

Excalibur: 5 wires, red, black, green, blue, orange
WOT: 4 wires, red, black, white, orange

    I appreciate your information!

I hunt the treasure coast beaches of Florida, essentially sand only. No diving. The beach renourishment has pretty much destroyed the beach environment, but it's nice walking along the waterline and hunting.

    Again, thanks!

    Bill
