Hi, I found your thread on google dealing with a nascar silver proof coin weighing 1 troy pound (http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/coins/231335-dale-earnhardt-1-pound-proof-save-me-folks.html). I just found a couple of these coins in my parents' storage shed and I was wondering if you ever hacked into that coin to determine its purity. I was thinking it might be silver plated or a really low grade of silver, but that's just speculation on my part.
