I hope you will be able to help me..I'm looking to purchase a good quality MD for both land and underwater detecting. I'm a total newbie except for a few hours spent with my father detecting with an older Fisher machine back in England, I think I'm right in saying that the JW Fishers Pulse 8X detectors aren't your typical 'beginners' models but I dive regularly diver and I'm fortunate enough to work on boat in St Martin that give me access to some potential spots, so i think it would get a lot of use. I am in Cocoa Beach tomorrow on a visiting cruise ship and was looking to rent this model to try it out. I have seen "Steve & Debbie" and "Hatts Diving HQ" listed on several internet searches and was wondering if you knew anything about them? Is there anywhere else you can recommend for rental or at least to try out this detector or similar? Any advise you can give would be greatly appreciated! I know it's short notice but I only just found your post!
