This is my first posting. On a recent trip to Nevada, I found a U.S. $10.00 Gold Eagle. A 1909 S. Found it while "Surface Hunting". I spotted a glint of color in the ground, could only see a small portion of the rim & thought it was a gold colored aluminum key tag. When I picked it from the dirt, I could then feel thr weight & see the Eagle. My 1st U,S. Gold Coin . I detected the area but no other signicant finds. It was a Good Day. Will try to post a picture when I figure how.
