I remember sending you a PM last year. I heard of the gold coins found off Blind Pass back in the 70's. It was published in the newspaper. My buddy found silver coins off the beach at the Thunderbird Motel. There is something out there. I have a magnetometer and a side scan sonar. I would really like to find something close to home. Goday ! Not certain who you speak of. But, have seen items off both st. pete beach & gasparilla's lair. st. pete story is true, viewed black & whites of silver several years ago when attending the st. pete farm market. +/- shipwrecks with load off this coast. have also seen gasparilla recovery in person out of tarpon springs......never know what you'll find sponge diving, eh?! once came upon an Ohio class while playing with a swivel gun off boca grande. if you knock they ping back!! too bad they weren't entertaining.....however they had a dsv shelter loaded out.

Has anyone heard of the coins found off of st pete beach fl, tring to locate someone that knows anything about these or if they have ever been seen or is this just a tale, silver bars also found in same area in the 1930's...
