I have been metal detecting for probably 20yrs now, always wanted a detector when i first heard of them. My uncle got me interested when i was a young man, showing me his finds back when it was rare to see a detector.
This is a great hobby & very relaxing after a rough day. My experience is limited as my detecting time gets taken up by endless tasks around the home.
Ive found pounds of clad coins & a handfull of old silver coins, only 1 ring that was worth anything as it was a very expensive classring that belonged to a coworkers son, that find was very good as it made me feel goid to help & was a great relief to them that the ring was found.
. I keep detecting when i can in hopes of someday finding some gold or possibly a stash. Happy Hunting Everyone!
