I'm a new member.
Am retired military(SF 24 years)& retired history teacher.
I have been a researcher of nearly 50 years concerning the Revolutionary War & Confederate War of Independence.
I'm not a digger but diggers have contacted me over many years to verify whatever they recover as to identification,etc.
Items recovered in South Carolina & Georgia interest me the most.
Just recently I identified a rare British belt buckle(19th. Regt.)found N. of Charleston and it will appear in Don Troiani's forth-coming book concerning Revolutionary War relics.
I hope to communicate with diggers who will advise where items are recovered.This is especially important as to South Carolina recovered items as Revolutionary War armies crossed the state at various times.
Any such information privately given to me will be treated as absolutely confidential.
