I didn't even say anything about the whale bone- egad- that's cool! I find shark's teeth here- just over the river. No one around here talks about this secret fact. Most know about Calvert Cliffs, but relatively few know that there's been shark nurseries right here within a couple miles of my home. I may or may not have picked up other fossils. I have to read up on that topic. All I know is that black bone is fossil, but don't know how to ID much beyond the obvious shark varieties. Again, thank you so much for the awesome care package!
