Roger-- thanks for your thorough answer.

As you likely saw, my interest in both the LAD & the LDM is primarily historical, as I love maps and used to hike quite a bit.

Probably wouldn't know a gold vein if it bit me-- but I like to visualize the experience of putting the clues together via map.

I notice in one of your old posts (re: dowsing a color enhanced map re: the LAD) that you mention having access to Dick French & some of his additonal personal writings re: LAD>

Is Dick still alive?

Do you know if he Is the authentic author of the book "Return to the Lost Adams DIggings" as is claimed in an article attributed to him in an issue (May/June/11?) of "Gold Prospector" magazine?

If so, do you know how I can get a copy (pdf file?) of his manuscript.

I truly enjoyed his book "Four Days from Fort Wingate" and would love to read a followup book, if it really is from him.
